INTRODUCTION

There are many forces both good and evil seeking for the heart and minds of people on the internet. Most of us get unsolicited e-mail everyday offering all kinds of things. You can use the same medium to witness for Christ. You can share Jesus with friends and strangers around the world by sending direct or bridge evangelistic e-mails. You can have direct access into their homes and businesses speaking to them in a very personal way. 

IMPORTANT TIPS

• It is advisable to set up a special e-mail account for the purpose of your witnessing.
• When composing and sending your witnessing mails, try to put in some personal touch in addressing your recipients by giving your first/last name and putting their own names e.g. “To Sola from Yemisi“
• Avoid sending bulk messages.
• Try as much as possible to give the recipients of your witnessing e-mails some links that can assist them in getting more information on the message you are passing across or knowing more about Jesus.
• You can mail wordings of a song, poems, notable quotes etc.
• If you get an e-mail you do not like e.g. abusive, obscene etc. Just hit the delete tab and move on. Do not bother to read further and polluting your mind.
• You can put a block on any e-mail address where you received an unagreeable mail so that you never have to receive messages from such addresses again.

It is important to have a large collection of e-mail addresses for us to reach a large number of people with our message. This you can do in several ways, one of which is to do a google search for pen pal sites. Most of these sites usually have a long list of e-mail addresses displayed with the permission of their owners, from which you can prayerfully build up your e-mail address database and then you can select your targets for the message
